The Wealthy Emigrants

Wealthy Emigrants is a group consisting of two recording artists; SunNY , Chase Enriquez and business man Wally Richburg. The three long time friends and associates first crossed paths in Atlanta, GA and each have achieved different levels of success in their own right. They have now come together to create The Wealthy Emigrants, a hip-hop, rock infused movement.
SunNY, an emcee originally from Rochester, NY, and based out of Atlanta, Ga first made waves as one of the most notable 106 and Park “Freestyle Friday” battle champs during its hay day which earned him a slot on the So So Def roster along-side Jermaine Dupree. His debut single and video “Soul of a Hustler” laid a foundation for his later releases, “Sunshine Shower” and a slew of viral videos. SunNY has worked with the likes of Freeway, NO I.D. and DJ Green Lantern and continues to add to his industry rapsheet.
Chase Enriquez, an emcee/singer was born in San Diego, Ca and has lived in Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA and currently Los Angeles, CA pursuing music. Under the pseudonym “Curse,” Chase independently released multiple projects, LP “Seriously,” the single and video “Sol Munki Rag” and the mixtape “Sneakers n’ Sex” with DJ Don Cannon of the Aphilliates and sponsored by Sol Munki clothing. While in LA, Chase had a brief stint fronting a Heavy Metal band and is now working on new projects.
Wally Richburg, a business man from Detroit, MI who initially made his mark on Wallstreet as a broker for Morgan Stanley. Upon his leaving he started one of Atlanta’s corner stone Sneaker/Skate boutiques “Sole Munki.” He shortly parlayed that into an even more popular clothing line, “Sol Munki.” Wally has since started his own firm, the Vigor Group and has implemented his brand-building strategy across multiple industries including, fitness brands, beverage companies, tech startups, ad agencies, eateries, women’s hair products and of course fashion.
As a team, Wealthy Emigrants have recently played multiple venues and events and are currently getting ready to go on a National US Tour to promote the “Wealthy Emigrants” EP.
